SRW Event Review - "The Conversation Party" hosted by Approach2Link

As usual when I get the chance to attend a single social event like the one I attended on Sunday, March 11th, I like to share my perspective and highlights of the evening with you.

First, I would like to commend Fiana Andrews the founder of Approach2Link for hosting the very first "Conversation Party" that I know of; in Toronto.  The turn out was great and the evening was filled with laughter and of course conversations.

The concept of a "Conversation Party" was created by a man you've probably seen in the media. His name is Hill Harper.

Harper say's "we are living in a world where technology rules the day,  people are facebooking, tweeting but not enough social networking. Everyone has things to learn and share; this is why conversation parties work."

HIGHLIGHTS of Event

You can't have a good Conversation Party without a HOT question.

The Question for the evening was:
Why are men not approaching the ladies/Why are women unapproachable?

The Conversation Starters.
Garry James aka Papa Grand and Nikki G.
They did a great job at presenting questions and keeping the dialogue going.

SRW Review of this event
This type of event is good for both men and woman who are truly SINGLE, READY & WAITING, (find out how truly Single Ready & Waiting you are this June at my book launch), as well as those that feel they are not yet READY to entertain a relationship at this time. Reason being, "Conversation Parties" are to bring men and woman together to conversate. Therefore no pressure to give out your 411. If you are interested in meeting new people, sharing your perspectives on relationships, learning more about how men and woman think,  and getting some laughs in, then don't let your "Not Ready" status stop you from joining the party. However, if you've just come out of a relationship and are bitter towards men/woman as a result of it, a Conversaton Party may not be the best event for you. Focus on healing from that relationship so that you can enjoy events like these in the future.

Also, while I feel that Christians and non-Christians can relate on some subjects we can differ in the way we approach relationships because of the God factor.
